2025-2026 HART SHOW CHOIR AUDITIONS
Auditions for the 2025-2026 School Year will be held the week of April 28th to May 1st.
Auditions consist of two parts: a dance audition and a vocal audition.
Dance Audition: There is nothing to prepare in advance. You will be taught a dance by one of our choreographers. Please come to the audition dressed in athletic/dance clothes (no jeans, no skirts) and your hair pulled back and out of your face. Bring water with you. This will be held in the Hart HS Auditorium.
Vocal Audition: You will prepare a song in advance that is about a minute to 90 seconds long. If you are singing a pop song, think one verse and one chorus. Please make sure you have an instrumental/karaoke track to sing along with. You can play it off of your phone. You can sing in any style you wish. Pick a song that you like to sing that shows off whatever your vocal strengths are. This will take place in the Hart HS Choir Room.
AUDITION WEEK SCHEDULE!
MONDAY 4/28- 3:15-5:30pm: LEARN THE DANCE!
Come to the Hart Auditorium and learn the audition dance from our artistic director and choreographer, Amanda Richardson. Make sure you are dressed to dance (no jeans, no skirts, athletic or dance clothes, hair pulled back) and bring water!
TUESDAY 4/29 3:15-5:30PM: PRACTICE THE DANCE!
Come to the Hart Choir Room and practice the dance with the other students auditioning and our dance captains!
WEDNESDAY 4/30 2:30-5:30PM- VOCAL AUDITIONS

Prepare a song about 1 minute to 90 seconds in length. Song can be any style- preferably pop, rock, musical theater. Make sure you have an instrumental/karaoke track to sing along with. You can play if off of your phone.
THURSDAY 5/1 6:30-9PM: DANCE AUDITION
Come to the Hart Auditorium and do the audition dance for our panel of choreographers. You will NOT need to be here for this entire time.
